AN INSIDE LOOK AT NEXT GEN MATERIALS RESEARCH

Keen to get an insider’s view of cutting edge research into advanced materials and device fabrication for game changing health and energy solutions?

Join us for the official launch of our Virtual Lab Tour, and check out our world class facilities from the comfort of your own home.

As part of the tour, you will get an insight into our team’s fundamental work including the discovery and development of new materials for use in the biomedical sector. Walk with us as we explore the development of bioinks and the integration of living cells delivered using customised bioprinters to address specific medical challenges.

The Virtual Tour will be held in two parts over an action packed week:

  • Session 1 (Tuesday 28 May, 5pm) – discovery, development and scaling of new aspects of the chemistry of graphene; using advances in materials synthesis for real structures (3D printing stents); fibre spinning electrodes; preparing cells for printing.

  • Session 2 (Thursday 30 May, 5pm) – tour of TRICEP (Translational Research Initiative for Cellular Engineering and Printing); developing protocols for bioinks and customised 3D printers for manufacture; printing printers for clinicial collaborators; building new tools to train the next generation of biofabricators.

Register your interest on Eventbrite now - registrations close Monday 27 May 2019. Please note you are welcome to register for one or both sessions.

Login details for the virtual tour will be provided after close of registrations.
